This privacy policy explains how SCAIL LLC (doing business as TargetByTitle) collects, uses, protects, and otherwise handles personally identifiable information ("PII") — information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person — in connection with targetbytitle.com and the TargetByTitle service.

What personal information do we collect from people who visit our website?

All content on targetbytitle.com can be read without registration or disclosure of personal information. You may browse the site without disclosing any information, and may use cookie blockers, proxies, or any other privacy tools you choose. To request an audience profile, contact us, or open an account, some information is required: typically your name, work email address, agency or company name, and the job posting URL you submit.

What personal information do we collect from other sources?

SCAIL LLC licenses and maintains professional profile information on U.S. working adults — such as job title, employer, industry, seniority, professional licences and certifications, and residence state — for the purpose of building professional audiences used in recruitment and business-to-business advertising. This information is obtained from licensed data providers, public records, and publicly available sources including professional networking sites and industry organizations. We do not collect or use age, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, or veteran status in the construction of TargetByTitle audiences. When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you submit a form on our site, open an account, or correspond with us. We also license and refresh professional profile data on a regular and recurring basis.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect when you submit a request, open an account, or use the service in the following ways:

• To build and deliver the audience profile you requested and to operate your account.
• To send service emails about your requests, audiences, and account, and periodic emails about our products and services.
• To deliver professional audiences to advertising platforms on behalf of our customers, so that recruitment and business advertisements reach people whose professional profile matches the advertiser's requirements.
• To improve the site and the service.

How do we protect personal information?

• The site is served over SSL and any information submitted online is encrypted in transit.
• We use vulnerability and malware scanning to keep our web properties secure.
• Audience data is transmitted to advertising platforms using hashed identifiers through those platforms' own APIs; our customers never receive raw personal data.
• We never ask for personal financial information such as credit card numbers (payments are handled by our payment processor) or Social Security numbers.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer through your web browser (if you allow it) that let the site recognize your browser and remember certain information. We use cookies and similar technologies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and interactions, to measure the performance of our own advertising, and to remember your session if you have an account. Third-party disclosure

We do not sell personal information to other companies or individuals. It is, however, necessary for us to share hashed identifiers with advertising platforms in order to deliver audiences on behalf of our customers. We only work with respected partners that follow rigorous privacy and data-compliance standards consistent with the Digital Advertising Alliance principles. Most commonly these partners include Meta, Google, LiveRamp, and the demand-side platforms through which display advertising is purchased. Opting out of TargetByTitle audiences

Any individual may request exclusion from all TargetByTitle audiences at any time by emailing privacy@targetbytitle.com. We will suppress the record from future audience builds and refreshes.

California Consumer Privacy Act

The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents access to and control over their personal information. If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of any and all personal information collected and retained by SCAIL LLC.
• Request that we delete the personal information we have on file about you.
• Request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act puts parents in control of the collection of personal information from children under 13. We do not market to children under 13, and TargetByTitle audiences are built exclusively from data on working adults.

SMS / text messaging

SCAIL LLC (doing business as TargetByTitle) may send SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in to receive them. By opting in you consent to receive automated text messages from SCAIL LLC at the number provided; consent is not a condition of purchase. Messages may include audience delivery notifications, account alerts, and information you have requested, typically 1–5 per week depending on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out (you will receive one confirmation message and nothing further) or HELP for assistance, or contact partnerships@targetbytitle.com. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

CAN-SPAM Act

We collect your email address to deliver the audience profiles you request, to operate your account, and to share information about our products and services. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link and our business name and address, and advertisements are clearly identified. To unsubscribe from all correspondence, email privacy@targetbytitle.com and we will promptly remove you.
